Vintage Mila Schoen ombre velvet open side bodice dress from the 1980s. This very unique dress is made from some amazing velvet in a deep rich burgundy that is lighter and darker in stripes that are set on the bias at the bodice and horizontal on the skirt. The bodice has a cowl neckline with snaps to close at the left shoulder side, the dress also closes at the left waist side with snaps The bodice has dropped shoulders that create capped shoulders, the sides of the dress are open under the arm to the waist, see photos. The bodice has a slight blousson effect see photos. The dress is fully lined in burgundy sheer chiffon, it feels like silk. The waist is seamed, the skirt is very slightly full and falls straight to the hem. Marked size 40.
