Vintage 1930s sheer floral chiffon balloon sleeve dress. This dress is handmade, the fabric is silk crepe chiffon, the design a narrow black grid each square is filled with a small floral print, the fabric is very pretty. The wide open neckline has a ruffle edge, the sleeves are very unusual, the are short and four layers, two layers of floral chiffon with two layers of black lace between. The bodice is semi full to the waist. A cased elastic waist, with a bias cut full sweeping skirt. The dress is unlined. It's a very pretty dress. The neckline is quite wide so if you have narrow shoulders, the neckline will slip off. It would be possible to add elastic or a draw cord to make the neckline adjustable. In excellent condition and one of a kind.
