Victorian white embroidered cotton & lace long camisole, petticoat combination from the 1890s. Scoop neck, sleeveless camisole is lace trimmed with embroidery at the front, closes at the back with mother of pearl buttons, in the style of the time the bust front is full with gathers at the waist and a draw cord at the front to gather as needed. The attached ankle length (depending on your height) petticoat skims the hips and flares at the deep ruffle lace trimmed hem, the skirt has 3 ruffle layers of fabric at the hem beneath the lace trim, one layer has hand embroidered scallop trim, one is done in drawn work. The skirt closes at the waist band back with a button. Small in the waist, the skirt & top could be let out. In very good condition and wearable, with only slight wear as you would expect from a garment over 100 years old. It would make a lovely wedding dress. Fits a size small.
