Ronald Amey Velvet print floral trim maxi dress 1970s. Ronald Amey was known for his use of amazing fabrics and this velvet is gorgeous in shades of persimmon, coral, grey-blue and cream. The dress has a fitted bodice with a jewel neckline, long sleeves with deep cuffs, the neckline and cuffs are of blue lace and appliqued with silk poppies in rich shades that complement the colours of the dress. There is a wide self belt at the waist and a graceful gathered full maxi skirt. The sash and cuffs close with faceted crystal buttons (missing one one each cuff and one at the waist. The dress is lined in off white silk, the sleeves are unlined. Closes at the back with a zipper and buttons. There is some minor discolouration in the lining which dosen't affect wear. Fits like a size 4.
