Moschino pastry box glazed leather handbag vintage 1980s. Franco Moschino the irreverent founder of his namesake company delighted in poking fun at the excesses of the 1980s, when everything was over the top. His designs were inspired by the Surrealist movement of the 1920s and whether you were wearing a coat made of toy teddy bears or pulling your keys out of a handbag that looks like a box for pastry, you were a fan or you weren't. This bag is rare and not often seen. Made of off white creamy glazed leather with brown trims, the back features a gold metal Moschino logo tag. The Bag has double handles at the top, which open with hidden snaps to access the bags interior. The bag folds up neatly into it's unique shape and opens like a flower, the interior is lined with Moschino logo cream fabric. The bag base is flat with no feet. The bag has very light wear on the outside, there are some light marks on the lining inside mainly on the bottom, the bottom of the bag has scuffs as you would expect, see photos.
