Mignon beaded bodice full skirt chiffon cocktail dress from the early 1960s. This gorgeous dress features a fitted bodice encrusted with beads, sequins and prong set rhinestones, all in shades of gold, the edges are hand stitched with burnished metallic gold thread, the narrow shoulder straps are sewn with tiny sparkling shaped sequins. The layered chiffon skirt is a shade of golden pumpkin, with double chiffon and an under skirt of crepe. This dress is beautifully made, there are many couture details. The dress closes at the back with a zipper and hook and eye at the top. Marked size 8/fits a modern size 4.
