Lilli Ann 1940s nip waist peplum hem black and white stripe wool skirt suit. Stylish suit, the jacket gives a nod to Christian Dior's Bar suit. This jacket is really great in narrow black and white horizontal stripes, the neck and hem facings are done in self fabric and it gives a really stylish finish. Long sleeve jacket has a banded V neckline, it closes with double rows of round self buttons. The nipped waist has a peplum hem that is curved at either hem front. The jacket is lined in crepe. The matching skirt has a banded waist and closes at the side with a metal zipper and button. A below knee length skirt has darted hips and a deep hem. It is partially lined at the derriere. In very good condition there are two tiny spots at the upper chest where a pin must have been worn. There is a tiny spot on the upper arm sleeve front. There are two small holes at the waist band center front, see photos.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
