SOLD John Galliano 1920s Inspired Embroidered Velvet & Silk Evening Coat Early 2000s

John Galliano 1920s inspired embroidered velvet & silk evening coat, early 2000's. Rare to find Galliano coat in wine velvet with colourful floral embroidery. The coat has dropped shoulders & wide kimono sleeves with embroidered detail. Bias cut body, the coat is trimmed with deep pink satin facings, it dips at the back. Lined in pink silk chiffon. The coat wraps and ties with a thin ribbon at the front, there are embroidered openings for the ribbon to pass through. The right front panel is heavily embroidered as are the sleeves. Marked size 6.
 In excellent wearable condition.  All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
