The lower dress is done in an A line wool knit, the side has sparkly black glass, non working, buttons running down the side. The dress has princess seams. Closes at the back with a hook & eye and zipper closure, fully lined in black rayon. Marked size 36.
Givenchy is known best for his elegant and innovative haute couture. He began his career working under Elsa Schiaparelli, Jacques Fath, Robert Piguet, and Lucien Lelong. As a young man, he worked alongside Pierre Balmain and Christian Dior who were also making their mark on Parisian fashion.
