Creazioni Paoli of Firenze swing coat and sheath dress set of cream crocheted raffia from the 1950s. This set has the original tag and appears to be unworn. The dress is a simple fitted sheath dress, the crochet is perfectly placed and matched, the facings are finished in a scallop edge, lined in ivory rayon, the dress closes at the back with a painted metal zipper and a hook & eye at the top. The swing coat is open at the front with no closings, the coat is done in the same crochet design as the dress, the collar, front facings faux pocket flaps and cuffs are done in a plain crochet design, which is a nice compliment to the floral of the dress. The coat is lined in ivory rayon and is marked size 46. There is a little bundle of extra raffia attached to the dress bodice in case you need to make a repair! Fits like a modern 4-6.
