SOLD Christian Lacroix Painted Silk Button Front Bat Wing Dress 1980s

Christian Lacroix painted silk button front, bat wing dress from the 1980s. Textured silk with a modern painted design, this is a very unusual dress & not typical of Lacroix. Oval open neckline with bat wing sleeves, large shoulder pads, the sleeves taper to the wrists that close with gold & blue metal buttons with self loops. The dress closes at the front with gold & blue metallic buttons with self loops. Like a reverse triangle the dress is wide at the top and tapers to the narrow hem. Unlined, interior  finished seams. Worn with or without a belt. Marked size 42
