Christian Dior, Dior Boutique Paris numbered 1960s metallic brocade maxi dress designed by Marc Bohan. From the mid 1960s this dress is primarily hand made, constructed of the most amazing metallic brocade fabric done in gold, persimmon and hot pink, the fabric pattern is a mix of diamonds and flowers. The dress has a high collar, long semi full sleeves with deep cuffs that close with gold buttons and loops. The bodice is fitted with darts. The skirt is lightly gathered at the waist and falls to the hem in a bell shape. Seamed waist. On seam side pockets in the skirt. The body of the dress is lined in silk organza,the sleeves are unlined. Dress closes at the back with a painted metal zipper with hooks and eyes at the collar back. Together with the original cord belt. Fits like a size 8
