Vintage handmade Filet lace with embroidery and cord work dress from the 1920s. This would make a lovely wedding dress. Pull on dress has hidden snaps at the front, with tiny crochet buttons at either side of the center closure. The dress has pleated shoulders and 3/4 length sleeves that come to points at the elbow back. The dress has a horizontal seam at the front waist and is slightly gathered at either front side. The skirt is slightly A lined and a bit longer at the back. The hand knotted Filet lace is light and airy some is over embroidered with satin stitch embroidery. There are inserted panels of embroidered mesh and bands of fine tape lace. Cord work is knotted in panels that anchor the design. A very beautiful dress, an example of the artistic talents of 20s when dresses were cut without patterns on the body. There is no slip, the dress is sheer. Fits a size Small.
