Vintage 1920s dark azure blue panne velvet flapper dress. This original 1920s flapper dress is made from beautiful silk panne velvet, it is in remarkable condition for it's age and entirely wearable. The sleeveless dress has a low scoop neckline front and back. Dropped set in waist band is graduated from narrow to wide side to side, the narrow side has hip ties, the skirt below the band is open at each side with draped floating panels longer on one side than the other. Self facings, other seams are picot edged. No spots, stains, holes, repairs or tears, there are some striations to the back of the fabric at the underarm sides these are not seen from the outside and it doesn't affect the velvet, also the fabric is strong. Fits a size Small-Medium.
