Givency Black Textured Silk Dress with Hip Bow from the 1990s. Givenchy captured the essence of Paris in this dress, the elegant chic that French women are known for. Created of an open weave silk the neckline is wide and open with peaked 3/4 elbow length sleeves. The bodice is semi fitted and tapers to a seamed waist. The skirt is cut on the bias and flares at the hem. The body of the dress is fully lined in black silk. The right hip had a large bow applique the center with blue and white flowers. The dress closes at the back with a hand set zipper, there is also a hand set zipper on the side. Fits like a size 8.
