1930s Tape Lace and Red Velvet Bias Cut Evening Dress. This beautiful dress is unusual in it's combination of textiles, the upper bodice of a fine cream tape lace and the bias panel dress of rich ruby red velvet. The bodice has a V neckline and cap sleeves, the lace at the upper back has a keyhole opening a single pearl button closes at the top. The dress pulls on and is unlined. The lace and fabric is strong and wearable. There is one tiny hole, see last photo, at the lower skirt side, it is not seen.
