1930s cream silk charmeuse bias cut couture gown with ecru lace trim. This beautiful gown is beautifully hand made, the neckline is ecru re-embroidered alencon lace, perfectly cut and pieced and attached by hand with silk thread. The bodice has a V neckline that forms an X under the breasts. There are darts to shape the bust that fan out like cats whiskers on either side of the V point. The lace shoulder straps are wide with a narrow cap at the shoulder. The gown is narrow through the torso and flares to the hem, the bias cut lets the fabric skim the body. There are long ties at the waist back. In very good wearable condition. Fits a size 4-6.
