Thierry Mugler 1980s Nip Waist Green & Brown Stripe Skirt Suit Snap Back Skirt

Thierry Mugler 1980s Green & brown stripe nip waist, big shoulder jacket and high waist snap back pencil skirt. The jacket has wide shoulders, the sleeves are set in with curved seams. Exaggerated shoulders taper to a wide high fitted waist, the back is gathered above the waist band. The jacket closes with leather covered snaps and a leather buckle. The deep V neckline is framed with a wide notched lapel collar. The matching skirt has a wide high waist band, there are large open hip front pockets at either side, the skirt is slightly gathered at the waist band, the skirt tapers to the hem, the skirt closes at the back with leather covered snaps with a deep hem vent. The jacket is lined, the shoulder pads have been removed, they could easily be replaced, the skirt is unlined. Mid weight wool. Marked size 38.
 In excellent wearable condition.  All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
