Emilio Pucci Zig Zag Colour Bright Gown and Robe Set EPFR 1970s
Emilio Pucci zig zag colour bright gown and robe set EPFR from the 1970s. It's rare to find Pucci's sets still together! Emilio Pucci For Formfit Rogers is a line Pucci did in conjunction with Formfit Rogers in the 1960s and 70s, he wanted to expand into lingerie and expanding into that market was easier done with an established company, which was Formfit Rogers, who were well known at the time for their lingerie. Pucci's incredible prints were printed on nylon tricot the prices were lower than his own Pucci line. This set is gorgeous and the print and colours are amazing. The sleeveless gown pulls on and closes at the front with a button and loop, there is a deep vent below, A line shape the hem comes to points at the front and back and hits mid thigh at the sides. The matching robe has raglan sleeves and a band collar, closes at the front, the sleeves are 3/4 length, A line shape with the same pointed hem front and back and higher side hems. Both pieces are unlined. There is one replaced button on the robe, a tiny pull on near the hem and a small discoloured spot on the robe side front, it does blend into the print, see last photo. Otherwise excellent. Marked size medium will fit a small-medium.
