Metallic jewel lame Mughal evening bag India from the 1960s. This beautiful bag has a unique shape and a lovely patina, made from burnished silver lame, it is covered with couched gold metallic thread, and applique work floral motifs sewn with semi precious stones, amber, amethyst, turquoise, tigers eye and quartz. The bag is handmade and hand sewn. Flap front with a hidden snap closure, lined in black silky fabric, there are two open side pockets inside. A single handle is covered with lame and gilt cord work.
