Larry Aldrich royal blue silk chiffon plunge V halter neck maxi dress from the 1970s. Classic 1940s  goddess style gown in a beautiful shade of royal blue. The dress is lined, the chiffon is sheer. The halter top is fitted through the waist to the lower back, each bust front has a loose fit lining the chiffon is gathered at the waist and lightly pleated up to the neck back fastening. The skirt waist is gathered and skirt falls full to the hem. The rayon lining is less full than the outer skirt, it has a deep back hem vent. The dress closes at the back with a zipper & hook & eye, closes at the neck with hook & eyes at the back. With the original belt, the belt is rolled off white wool fiber covered in chiffon making a cord tie. The belt has tiny bits of fiber that poke through the chiffon. The dress looks good with other belt styles. Marked size 8.
