Vintage hand embroidered Czechoslovakian smocked peasant dress. This pretty dress is a later version of a 1920s dress, done in black cotton blend lightweight fabric, with colourful hand embroidered flowers. The dress pulls on and has smocking at the neck and waist, it is quite long. Raglan sleeves have cased elastic cuffs with a ruffle below. The upper bodice is gathered at the smocked neckline and is full to the smocked waist. The skirt is softly gathered and falls full to the hem. There is a red ribbon tie at the neck front, I don't think it is original. Unlined. Fits a size 4-6.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
