SOLD Halston Crystal & Pearl Beaded black Silk Chiffon Jacket & Skirt Set Late 1970s

Halston black chiffon beaded open front jacket & skirt from the late 1970s. Jewel neck jacket is open at the front, with long bishop sleeves which are gathered at the wrist & have a great drape & amazing mini faux pearl fringe. The jacket is heavily beaded with large & small crystal beads, especially at the front facings & hem. The neckline, facings & hem have a delicate mini teardrop pearl fringe detail. The jacket is self lined in silk chiffon. The matching skirt has a cased elastic waist & is self lined in silk chiffon. The skirt is beaded throughout with crystal rhinestones & pearls, the hem has a heavily beaded border.  Possible missing bead here or there.  Marked size 14. Later Halston beaded garments were hand beaded in India where the craft people turned out amazing quality work, always done on silk with glass beads, glittery rhinestones and quality faux pearls.
 In excellent wearable condition.  All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
