Gucci Original Sylvie Shoulder bag 1969 Chocolate Brown Leather & Gold Hardware

Gucci original Sylvie shoulder bag from 1969, in chocolate brown leather with gold hardware. The archival inspiration for Gucci's 2019 Sylvie 1969 handbag. This bag is in remarkably good condition for it's age, the smooth leather has a beautiful sheen, the front flap has a slight curve shape at the center where the buckle and clasp meet. The shoulder strap is attached to the bag with gold hardware and the strap is adjustable with a gold buckle. The bag is chunky with gusseted sides. The interior is lined in tan pigskin, there is a back zipper compartment with an attached front slip pocket, the other interior side has an open gusseted pocket both are trimmed in brown leather. The bag is noted for its gold chain belt and buckle that closes at the front flap, a gold bar pulls down to unlock. There are a few light scuffs and two dents the size of a pencil point, at the left front and left rear, there are 2 very slight thin impressions like curved lines at the back, neither of these take away from the beauty of the bag. The leather is smooth and well conditioned.
