Vintage 1930s white cotton window pane fabric woven day dress with Bakelite Buttons. This beautiful summery dress is made from sheer crisp white cotton that has a woven thread windowpane design. The dress closes at the front with hidden snaps, we have replaced the old snaps with new ones, the solid Bakelite buttons are like tubes and are only decorative. the dress has a bow tie neck and short turn back sleeves with button trims. There is a seamed waist, the skirt has stitched down pleats, front and back, that are open below the hip. The original self belt is included, it has a Bakelite buckle. Unlined, you may want to add a slip. Fits like a size medium.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
