Frank Usher, London black taffeta ruffle pleat trim cocktail dress from the 1970s. Sculptural trim, done in narrow accordion pleated ruffles that stand on their own, cocktail dress. Fitted boned bodice dress has narrow shoulder straps, the skirt is slightly gathered at the waist and is trimmed at the sides and hem in pleated ruffles. The bodice is lined, the skirt is unlined. The dress closes at the back with a zipper & hook/eye. fits like a modern 2, narrow through the ribs. Part of the label has been cut away, see photo.
