Loris Azzaro Couture Metal Chain and Silky Jersey Maxi Dress 1970s

Loris Azzaro Couture metal chain and jersey maxi dress from the 1970s. This amazing dress is hand made of silky bias cut, chocolate brown jersey, the low scoop neckline is gathered at the front, shoulders tops and upper back edge. The waist of the dress, from under the bust to the top of the hip is an open work checkerboard of copper metallic chain and woven cord. Long full sleeves have deep cuffs of copper metallic cord and chain woven in an open work checkerboard design, the cuffs close with zippers. The skirt is cut on the bias, it hugs the hips and falls full to the hem, this dress is extra long. This dress was made to order and fitted on the original owner, who is very tall. Closes at the back with a metal zipper and hook and eye. Unlined.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
